
The public is invited to a community forum on Thursday, March 6th to facility updates. New options and an explanation of the financial impact to the public will be presented.


Family Game Night! March 20th. Please register in advance! Supper, hot dogs & chips, will be provided. PreK thru 5th grade.


We are still proceeding with the 6th-9th grade zoo trip tomorrow (3/5/25). The students will now leave at 9am tomorrow and forgo the stop and the Homestead Monument in Beatrice. If things change and we need to cancel, that decIsion will be made by 7am on Wednesday morning.

Read Across America Week is celebrated from March 2 to 6 — it begins on the birthday of the beloved author, Dr. Seuss. The entire month of March, in fact, is dedicated to reading.

Cambridge Speech competed at Holdrege today. While ALL of our speakers are winners, our medal winners today are as follows:
Jensyn: 2nd in entertainment
Colton: 3rd in extemporaneous
Savannah: 4th in informative
Hailey: 2nd in Informative
EJ: 1st place in Persuasive!!
Again, I am incredibly proud of all of the students who performed today!

FFA Feed the Farmer Lunch is today!


It is such a gift to have amazing community involvement, but today was even more special when recent CPS graduate Wyatt Jackson of Jackson Construction talked to Mrs. Gunderson’s senior English class about what it takes to start a business. The real world insight and suggestions were greatly appreciated. The students have a lot to think about on our business venture project! #TrojanWay

English I was back at Romeo and Juliet. After finishing their symbolism character masks, several of the kids tried their hand at writing and performing a skit using blank verse! The kids had more fun than even this teacher would have expected!!
